The antidote has always been and always will be traditional Black midwifery that is rooted in community and liberation.

In order for us to eradicate the threats to Black Maternal Health, we need a resurgence of the model of care demonstrated by community midwifery.

The World Health Organization has affirmed that we need over 900,000 midwives by 2035 to save 4.3 million people annually! At Sumi’s Touch we are answering the call and cultivating a community of traditional midwives.
