Body Talk from the Black Freedom Fellowship with Isha Rosemond [OPEN TO ALL] Sat, June 28 9:00am - 10:00am PDT
A weekly space to breathe, move, and come home to your body – in community.
BodyTalk is a 6-week online somatic practice and yoga circle centering Black birthing people, birth workers, caregivers, and co-conjurers. Together, we’ll practice the art of listening inward—giving our bodies the chance to speak, and creating the silent space needed to truly hear them. Each 60-minute session includes:
🌀 40 minutes of gentle, accessible Hatha yoga
🌀 10 minutes of breathwork + meditation
🌀 10 minutes of group reflection + journaling prompts to carry into the week
You are encouraged to commit to all 6 sessions, so we can grow together and deepen the circle week by week. No prior experience needed. We encourage diverse bodies, fitness levels, and gender identities—just bring a mat, a notebook, and your whole self. Over six weeks, we’ll move through themes that help us build deeper somatic awareness, ease tension, and reclaim our vitality.
